Advertise With Gifts and Gift
Ideas |

There are two ways a qualified
merchant (advertiser) can advertise on this website:
- Join an affiliate marketing
program as a merchant (we currently recommend shareasale.com). This is a "pay for
performance" program. In other words, you don't pay anything
until a sale (or lead generation) is made. Upon your acceptance
into the program, notify us via the program's communication network.
We will then evaluate your offerings for suitability with our
website and apply to you for an affiliate relationship.
- Apply directly to Gifts and
Gift Ideas for a single free banner ad (120x60). If your
website offers a product(s) suitable to us and you comply with
our requirements, we will place that banner ad on a page and
location of our choosing.
Requirements for a free
banner ad (120x60)
- The theme of the ad must "fit"
a gift category contained in Gifts and Gift Ideas. The page it
links to must be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Visitors to your website must
be able to purchase your products on a secure server.
- Your website must clearly
inform your customers of their rights and all costs, e.g. return
policy, shipping charges, etc. In other words, you must be a
reputable merchant.
- Your banner ad must reside
on our servers. We will cooperate should you request reasonable
changes from time to time.
- You must place the reciprocal
ad that follows on a clearly visible section of your home page.
The code we supply to you may not be altered in any way.

that you notify us of your intent to discontinue the relationship
should you decide to do so. We will do the same for you.
If you wish to apply for a
free banner ad, please fill out the following form; and click
the submit button. We will evaluate your request; and, upon our
acceptance, we will email the code to you. After you place our
link on your home page, notify us; and we will put your banner
link on Gifts and Gift Ideas.
Step 1. Copy and paste the above source code
into an appropriate area of your home page.
Step 2. Fill out the above form requesting
your free 120x60 banner ad placement on Gifts and Gift Ideas.
Please make sure the url of the page on Gifts and Gift Ideas
for the placement of your banner is the address of the page on
our site, not a page on your site. Send the form (click submit).
Step 3. We will evaluate your request; and,
if acceptable to us, we will ask you for the code for your 120x60
banner via email. If we determine your request is not appropriate,
we will notify you by email. If we do not see our text banner
on your site as described above, we will go no further.
Step 4. Upon receipt of your banner code,
we will place it on the page on Gifts and Gift Ideas you requested
and link to the page on your site that you requested.
Note: Please ensure all the
above steps are correctly followed. Due to the large volume of
requests we receive, we may not be able to ask for clarification. |
